Los Angeles Unified is accepting applications for summer school and the 2025-2026 school year!
Summer School Volunteer Applications: will be processed through July 17. Please ask your school site administrator to process the application before the summer school deadline or contact your Region Family and Community Engagement Team for assistance. Region Family and Community Engagement Administrative Coordinators will be assisting summer school principals with the processing of volunteer applications. Learn how to contact your Region Family and Community Engagement Administrative Coordinator by visiting  lausd.org/regions.

The 2025-26 School Year Application is open as of May 27, 2025.

• Student Teachers:
If you are seeking placement as a student teacher, please contact your University Student Teacher Placement office or the LAUSD Teacher Development and Support Branch at (213) 241-5495.
• LAUSD High School Students:
LAUSD high school students do not have to complete the Online Volunteer Application to volunteer at a LAUSD school. However, the LAUSD Student Volunteer Permission Form must be completed by high school students.
