Los Angeles Unified is accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year!
Welcome Back! We are thrilled to process your application for another year of service through the Los Angeles Unified School Volunteer Program.

The 2025-26 School Year : Applicants can apply to become an on-campus or virtual volunteer for the 2025-2026 school year. Learn more about the School Volunteer Program by reading the newest version of the Guide to Volunteering , which is available to download at https://www.lausd.org/volunteer . Beginning in Spring 2026, school principals and administrators will continue to approve volunteer applications. Other classified personnel may be granted designee access, which is limited to updating volunteer applications with required information. Final approval must be completed by site administrators.

• Student Teachers:
If you are seeking placement as a student teacher, please contact your University Student Teacher Placement office or the LAUSD Teacher Development and Support Branch at (213) 241-5495.
• LAUSD High School Students:
LAUSD high school students do not have to complete the Online Volunteer Application to volunteer at a LAUSD school. However, the LAUSD Student Volunteer Permission Form must be completed by high school students.
